About the role
SCOPE: Cut/De-burr/rep raw material used in manufacturing processes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read/understand simple blue prints/drawings
Read tape measure proficiently
Use metal cutting bandsaw, grinder, framing square to aid in cutting raw material.
Inspect for cleanliness, label and stage finished/prepped material in sequence for production as required.
Follows written and oral instructions to perform tasks accurately.
Works in a safe manner, keeps work area, tools, and equipment clean and in orderly fashion.
Performs other routine duties as requested.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Mechanical aptitude desired
2 years Forklift operation
Carpentry/woodworking experience a plus
