Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager to lead Agile teams in a SAFe environment.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, managing cross-functional dependencies, and driving continuous improvement across distributed teams.
- This role requires close collaboration with PMO leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives.
Agile Leadership:
- Facilitate daily Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive Agile best practices to improve team productivity, velocity, and delivery outcomes.
- Coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement.
- Track project progress and provide proactive status reporting to stakeholders.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and impediments impacting delivery.
- Partner with PMO leadership to manage program-level dependencies and roadblocks.
- Support quarterly Big Room Planning and other SAFe planning activities.
- Coordinate activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Manage cross-team dependencies and facilitate communication across distributed teams.
- Negotiate priorities and help teams make realistic commitments.
- Lead team retrospectives and drive actionable improvements.
- Participate in Inspect & Adapt events and other SAFe continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a servant-leadership culture focused on collaboration and accountability.
- Interface between technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Manage expectations, timelines, deliverables, and communication throughout project lifecycles.
- 3–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
- Experience working within a PMO and managing complex Agile projects.
- Experience identifying and removing team impediments and delivery risks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Google Workspace.
- SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner, PMI-ACP, CSP, or related certifications.
- Experience supporting streaming platforms, media, entertainment, video, or metadata ingestion environments.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, integrations, and external partners.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise Agile transformations.
