Job Description:
- We are seeking a FlexeraOne Administrator to support the day-to-day administration and operations of the FlexeraOne (FNMS SaaS) platform.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring platform health, supporting agents and beacons, managing integrations, handling operational incidents, and implementing configuration changes while working closely with Senior Flexera Administrators and the Software Asset Management (SAM) team.
- This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in FlexeraOne/FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) administration, Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and enterprise IT operations.
- Monitor the daily health of the FlexeraOne SaaS environment, including tenants, beacons, inventory collection, and data pipelines.
- Investigate and resolve Level 2 (L2) incidents related to Flexera agents, inventory scans, beacon connectivity, and data discrepancies.
- Perform user provisioning, role assignments, and periodic access reviews.
- Monitor and validate integrations with ITSM/CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow.
- Implement platform configuration changes following established Change Management (RFC) processes.
- Validate data ingestion from procurement, contract management, and inventory sources.
- Generate operational dashboards, SLA reports, and platform health reports.
- Support Flexera agent deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades, and version management.
- Maintain operational documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks.
- Perform routine beacon maintenance, patching, upgrades, and health checks.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure and Cloud Operations teams for beacon hosting and maintenance.
- Track and manage incidents through the organization's ITSM platform.
- Support release validation, smoke testing, and post-deployment verification activities.
- 3–5 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience administering FlexeraOne or FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS).
- Strong understanding of:
- FlexeraOne SaaS administration
- Beacon management
- Inventory collection and data flow
- Flexera Agents and scanning mechanisms
- Experience supporting ITSM and CMDB integrations, preferably with ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting and managing Flexera beacons.
- Basic understanding of software licensing models for:
- Microsoft
- Oracle
- Adobe
- Experience working in an ITIL-based Incident Management environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- SQL (basic queries)
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as:
- Power BI
- Tableau
- Basic scripting experience using PowerShell.
- Exposure to procurement platforms such as:
- Coupa
- SAP Ariba
- Knowledge of:
- Agent-based discovery tools
- Software inventory management
- Software Asset Management (SAM)
- IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Software licensing metrics and compliance
- Flexera Certified Administrator (Associate Level)
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or equivalent cloud certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Willingness to learn, grow, and develop expertise in the Software Asset Management (SAM) domain.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
