Job Description:
- The Private Banking Operations Cash Control team provides operational processing support for check clearing, for various business units in the firm.
- The Cash Control team is responsible for liaising with 3rd party banks for Reverse Positive Pay, ensuring proper clearance and reconciliation of outstanding checks, assisting in clearance of breaks or exceptions, and maintaining regulatory requirements relevant to retail bank checks.
- Review, accept, reject, and modify check records for proper clearing
- Support inquiries and requests related to check disbursements
- Execute daily processes against standard operating procedures and regulatory/risk requirements
- Assist with project testing for new products/changes through effective cross-team collaboration with business partners, technology and requisite stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with check processing procedures and controls
- Investigate and resolve open breaks relating to check clearing activities and external bank accounts
- Maintain and ensure sufficient oversight of retail bank check records to ensure accurate transaction history
- Pursue continuous process improvement while implementing and leveraging AI tools to drive results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Must be detail oriented as well as a logical and proactive thinker
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be able to work under pressure in a time sensitive environment
- Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including CoPilot integration
- Functional knowledge of basic accounting principles and journal entries a plus
- Bachelor s Degree or relevant experience
