Job Description:
- The OCM Communications Specialist will execute the communication strategy and support the successful adoption of SAP systems (including S/4HANA).
- This role focuses on creating clear, engaging, and targeted messaging that drives awareness, understanding, and commitment across all stakeholder groups.
- The position requires strong collaboration with project teams, business leaders, and change agents to ensure alignment with the overall OCM strategy.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive communication plan aligned with SAP project milestones and OCM objectives.
- Identify stakeholder groups and tailor messaging to address their specific needs and concerns.
- Establish feedback mechanisms to measure communication effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Create communication collateral such as newsletters, FAQs, executive toolkits, talking points, and digital content.
- Manage multiple communication channels (email, SharePoint, intranet, town halls, videos) to ensure timely and consistent messaging.
- Translate technical SAP concepts into clear, user-friendly language for diverse audiences.
- Partner with leadership and change champions to cascade messages and reinforce key project updates.
- Facilitate engagement sessions, workshops, and forums to foster two-way communication and address concerns.
- Track communication activities and measure impact on awareness and adoption.
- Provide regular updates to project leadership on communication effectiveness and stakeholder sentiment.
- Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years in Organizational Change Management communications, preferably supporting large-scale ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with SAP systems and business processes.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools (SharePoint, Teams, email platforms).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and build trust across all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
- Experience in global or multi-site SAP rollouts.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and their impact on communication strategies.
