Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Java Lead Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to design, develop, and lead the delivery of scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications.
- The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader capable of architecting solutions, mentoring development teams, and actively contributing to software development throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices-based applications using Java.
- Architect enterprise-grade solutions using modern design patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain core application components using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Drive the adoption of Microservices architecture, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
- Perform application performance tuning, troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Oversee deployment, monitoring, and operational support of microservices applications.
- Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the application architecture.
- 10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Strong experience with Java 11 and Java 17.
- Extensive experience designing and developing Microservices using:
- Spring Boot
- Spring Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Maven
- Jenkins
- GitHub
- Experience working with at least one major cloud platform:
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Spring WebFlux
- Reactive Programming
- GraphQL
- Event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Observability and monitoring tools
- Container orchestration and cloud-native deployment
- Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Work as a hands-on Individual Contributor (IC) with minimal supervision.
- Analyze business requirements, proactively clarify technical and functional questions, and translate user stories into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement business requirements using the approved technology stack.
- Propose scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Deliver high-quality software within committed timelines while maintaining engineering excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and architectural principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience leading enterprise Java development initiatives.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, cloud-native applications, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
