Job Description:
- The OCM Lead will drive the people side of change for the Component Repair S/4 program a mission-critical, end-to-end business and operating model transformation. This role ensures successful adoption of new processes and systems by developing and executing change strategies, communication plans, and training programs across a highly interconnected, serialized solution spanning SAP S/4, Solumina, eQube, Vistex, AutoTime, OpenText, and other integrated systems.
- McAllen is a mission-critical site with unique repair capabilities and no ability to pre-build inventory. The shift from manual, paper- and spreadsheet-based operations to digital, system-driven workflows creates a high-risk go-live profile.
- Prior implementations highlighted training weaknesses, limited documentation, and unclear sustainment models patterns that must be prevented from recurring. This is no longer an IT deployment; it is a business transformation.
- The key failure mode is not technology readiness, but people and process readiness.
Change Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Organizational Change Management strategy aligned with program goals and business transformation objectives
- Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and readiness evaluations across OBC, PNE, MM, and Finance functions
- Perform detailed change impact analysis to identify process, behavioral, and organizational design changes
- Create and manage change networks and champion programs, with emphasis on SFL/super user engagement and development
- Design and deliver targeted communication plans, executive toolkits, and messaging that address organizational concerns and build confidence
- Facilitate leadership alignment and engagement sessions to ensure consistent sponsorship and support
- Develop communication strategies that acknowledge the complexity of integration, data dependencies, and behavioral change requirements
- Define governance framework for change management activities and decision-making
- Create or contribute to the creation of a comprehensive training strategy designed for behavioral change, not just system functionality
- Address prior training weaknesses by designing role-based, scenario-driven learning that reflects real-world workflows
- Manage change deliverables including readiness assessments, management toolkits, and adoption metrics
- Monitor risks and mitigation plans related to change adoption, with particular attention to integration complexity and data dependency risks
- Define clear sustainment models and after go-live support structures to prevent post-implementation decay
- Track adoption metrics and behavioral change indicators to measure program success
- Proven experience leading Organizational Change Management for large-scale ERP projects, with demonstrated success in adoption and business transformation
- Strong knowledge of SAP platforms (S/4HANA required) and related business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance
- Expertise in change communications strategy, impact measurement, and stakeholder engagement across all organizational levels
- Demonstrated experience in organizational design and transition planning
- Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with client, internal, and consulting teams
- Strong project management and change delivery execution capabilities
- Ability to assess and address training gaps, design behavioral change initiatives, and establish sustainment models
- Preferred Qualifications
- Participation in 5 or more major business change initiatives involving SAP or similar ERP systems
- Leadership of 4 or more large-scale business change initiatives
- Lead or major role in 3 or more large-scale technology-enabled change initiatives
- Experience designing and executing OCM strategies for global SAP S/4HANA projects
- Prior experience with manufacturing or aerospace/defense industry transformations
- Familiarity with integrated systems environments (e.g., Solumina, eQube, Vistex, OpenText)
