Job Description:
- We are looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to support the Product Development IT (PDIT) organization by administering, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) platforms.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing GitHub Enterprise, Jira, Confluence, and JFrog Artifactory, along with hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipeline administration.
- This role focuses on platform ownership, governance, automation, and operational excellence while supporting globally distributed engineering teams.
- Administer and maintain enterprise SDLC platforms including GitHub Enterprise, Jira, Confluence, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Manage platform configuration, repository administration, organization structures, user access, permissions, governance, and workflow configurations.
- Design, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, or equivalent tools.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot technical issues, resolve incidents, and provide day-to-day operational support to development teams.
- Configure and maintain integrations between developer tools and enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with GitHub, Atlassian, and JFrog support teams to resolve platform-related issues and escalations.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution activities.
- Automate operational processes using scripting languages to improve efficiency and platform scalability.
- Support platform upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new developer tools.
- Ensure platform security, governance, compliance, and access management in partnership with Security and Legal teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, knowledge base articles, and user communications.
- 3–5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Developer Platform Administration.
- Hands-on administration experience with one or more of the following:
- GitHub Enterprise
- Jira
- Confluence
- JFrog Artifactory
- Strong experience managing:
- Repository administration
- Organization management
- User access and permissions
- Governance and workflow configuration
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using:
- GitHub Actions

- Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and developer productivity platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise developer tools and integrated platforms.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
