Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Release Train Engineering (RTE) to lead and coordinate complex software development projects.
- The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile Release Trains (ARTs), ensure alignment across multiple teams, and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
- This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity.
- Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) planning, execution, and delivery processes, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, system demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, alignment, and delivery of features and products.
- Manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and dependencies to meet business objectives.
- Act as a servant leader, fostering collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within teams.
- Track, monitor, and report progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve impediments impacting team and program delivery.
- Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, feature prioritization, and Program Increment (PI) planning.
- Drive adoption and implementation of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe best practices across teams.
- Ensure alignment and coordination across multiple Agile teams, stakeholders, and business units.
- Manage release schedules, deployment planning, and post-release activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Promote continuous improvement through metrics, feedback, and retrospective insights.
- Implement and monitor program-level metrics such as velocity, PI objectives, and delivery predictability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure adoption of best practices.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development projects.
- Extensive experience working as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) within SAFe or similar Agile frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles.
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification such as SAFe RTE/SPC, PMP, or PMI-ACP is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project management tools.
- Technical background or familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
