Rate Range: $70-$75/Hr
Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Zscaler DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Engineer to design, implement, and manage our data loss prevention infrastructure.
- This role focuses on protecting sensitive organizational data across cloud and on-premises environments using Zscaler's advanced DLP capabilities.
- Design and deploy Zscaler DLP policies and controls aligned with organizational security requirements
- Configure and manage DLP rules, templates, and incident response workflows
- Monitor DLP alerts and incidents; investigate and remediate potential data exposure events
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to understand data protection requirements
- Conduct regular policy reviews and optimize DLP configurations for effectiveness and performance
- Provide technical support and training to end users on DLP best practices
- Document DLP policies, procedures, and architectural decisions
- Stay current with Zscaler platform updates and emerging data protection threats
- 3 years of experience with data loss prevention solutions or related security roles
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler DLP platform or similar DLP tools (Symantec, Forcepoint, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data classification, encryption, and security protocols
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX)
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Zscaler certification or advanced training
- Experience with cloud security architecture
- Familiarity with SIEM and log management tools
- Background in compliance or risk management.
