Job Description:
- Paramount Streaming is seeking an experienced Analytics Automation Engineer to join the Data Insights Group (DIG) – Measurement Operations (MOPS) team.
- This role focuses on building and maintaining automation solutions that validate analytics implementations across Web, Mobile, Connected TV (CTV), and Streaming platforms.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, analytics validation, tracking technologies, and software quality engineering, along with hands-on exposure to Generative AI for automation framework enhancement and intelligent test design.
Analytics Test Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks for analytics validation across Web, Mobile, and Connected TV (CTV) applications.
- Automate testing for tracking libraries, SDKs, analytics APIs, and data collection platforms.
- Convert manual test cases into reusable automated test scripts.
- Validate tracking implementations and identify data collection gaps, inconsistencies, and implementation issues.
- Perform automated regression testing and analytics data validation across multiple platforms.
- Validate analytics events, tags, SDK implementations, and data collection accuracy.
- Support analytics API testing and data validation capabilities.
- Execute automated tests using real and simulated mobile and CTV devices.
- Analyze test execution results and create detailed Jira defect reports.
- Review tracking specifications and maintain high-quality analytics test suites.
- Design and enhance scalable automation frameworks that improve testing efficiency and maintainability.
- Perform automation framework optimization, code reviews, and test script audits.
- Mentor QA Engineers in automation best practices and framework adoption.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for automation throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Utilize Claude (mandatory) to rewrite, refactor, and optimize automation scripts for improved readability, maintainability, and reduced duplication.
- Leverage Generative AI tools to enhance automation framework capabilities.
- Implement AI-assisted test generation, self-healing automation, maintenance optimization, and failure Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Build or extend Agentic AI workflows for intelligent test generation, execution, and maintenance.
- Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts to generate context-aware automation using requirements, historical defects, and test assets.
- Containerize automation frameworks and AI utilities using Docker.
- Integrate AI-powered automation into CI/CD pipelines and enterprise test management processes.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, Product Managers, and Analytics teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for automation, analytics quality, and engineering practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Development, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
