Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DAS Technician to install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) used to improve wireless coverage in commercial buildings, hospitals, venues, and other facilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with DAS, low-voltage cabling, RF systems, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot DAS and wireless communication systems.
Install and route coaxial, fiber optic, and low-voltage cabling.
Install antennas, remote units, head-end equipment, splitters, couplers, and related components.
Perform RF testing, signal testing, and system optimization.
Read and interpret blueprints, RF drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation plans.
Identify and troubleshoot signal loss, cable faults, equipment issues, and system performance problems.
Perform cable testing using appropriate test equipment.
Assist with system commissioning and final acceptance testing.
Maintain accurate installation, testing, and service documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, customers, and other technicians.
Follow OSHA, site-specific, and company safety requirements.
Work on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and other job-site environments when required.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience working with DAS, wireless, RF, telecommunications, or low-voltage systems.
Hands-on experience with DAS installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Experience with coaxial and fiber-optic cabling.
Knowledge of RF fundamentals, signal levels, and wireless communications.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Experience using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal meters, or cable analyzers is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
