Rate Range: $45-$50/Hr

Job Description:

• We are looking for a Data Analyst with 5-8+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on expertise in SQL and data visualization tools, and experience transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and AI-driven analytics is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using BI tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
• Create ad-hoc reports and conduct root cause analysis to support business decisions.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to support analytics initiatives.
• Support predictive analytics, AI-driven insights, and business performance monitoring.
• Document business rules, metrics definitions, and analytical processes.
• Present findings and recommendations to business and leadership teams. Required Skills:
• Strong SQL and data analysis expertise Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis
• Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar visualization tools
• Advanced Excel and data reporting skills
• Data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Statistical analysis and business metrics interpretation
• Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Snowflake and Databricks
• Exposure to Generative AI, AI-powered analytics, and natural language querying
• Knowledge of PySpark and large-scale data processing
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data governance practices
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP ecosystems
• Knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals and forecasting techniques
• Experience with Streamlit, Jupyter Notebooks, and self-service analytics platforms Qualifications:
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting roles. Success Criteria:
• Ability to convert data into actionable business insights.
• Strong business acumen combined with technical analytical skills.
• Effective collaboration with business and technology teams.
• Focus on data quality, governance, and measurable business outcomes.
• Must have skills: Snowflake

About operations at ApTask

Operations roles at ApTask cover program management, PMO, business analysis, transformation, and change-management positions across enterprise clients. We place operators who translate strategy into delivery — PMPs, Scrum Masters, agile coaches, Six Sigma black belts, and change-management practitioners certified in Prosci or the client's preferred framework. Candidates are validated against the specific enterprise tooling the client runs (ServiceNow, Jira Portfolio, Clarity, Planview) and their prior track record in comparable-scale programs, not generic delivery experience.
