Rate: $44/Hr

Job Description:

• The Temporary Project Engineer will support the execution of capital projects at the Horseheads plant.
• This role will work closely with plant leadership and engineering teams to assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of infrastructure related projects.
• The position is intended to provide additional engineering support during a defined period of increased project activity. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the execution of capital projects, including scope development, layout reviews, and implementation activities.
• Develop, review, and update drawings using AutoCAD to support project planning and execution.
• Assist with coordination across disciplines related to plant infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP).
• Participate in site walks, equipment layouts, and installation planning.
• Support documentation, tracking, and reporting of capital project progress.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, contractors, and engineering resources to ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of plant infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience supporting capital projects in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and project execution practices. Additional Information:
• This is a temporary position expected to last approximately eight months. The role is full time during the assignment period and reports directly to the site engineering leadership.
